The objective of this study was to evaluate early pregnancy outcomes in these patients. From 1996 to 2005, 160 patients with CIN who conceived spontaneously were followed up. Medical records were reviewed for pregnancy complications, CIN recurrence, and gestational age at delivery. Nineteen patients (11.9%) conceived and 17 (42.5%) conceived within 6 months after the completion of treatment. Only one patient with CIN 2/3 and grade 4A and two patients with CIN 2/3 and grade 4B spontaneously conceived. All three patients were lost to follow-up. Eight patients conceived after treatment and six of them (75%) delivered at term with three spontaneous and three induced abortions (37.5%). The remaining two patients (25%) conceived and lost their pregnancies. None of the patients conceived again. There was no statistically significant difference in pregnancy outcome between patients treated by cervical conization and patients treated by dilatation and curettage. Among the three spontaneous pregnancies, two were twins (50%) and one was a triplet (25%). Spontaneous pregnancy rates in patients with CIN 2/3 and grade 4A are higher than those with CIN 2/3 and grade 4B.
