This program does provide a straight forward way of running benchmark tests however, it should be noted that the results are only accurate if all other programs are closed and not running at the time. I ran it on my old laptop and it crashed twice during the tests and had to be force closed twice before the results could be submitted.
Other than that it is a bit of a mess to setup. Using it is difficult because the interface is not intuitive at all.

What about XtremeMark?

My new version of XP is updating itself and brings XtremeMark to my memory. Its original version (2.x) was released over 10 years ago!

Simple, speedy and easy

One interesting fact is that when you run a benchmark from within XtremeMark you can set the processor to use all of the cores.
